In addition to her TRANSFORM role, Dr. Goldberg directs the Clinical and Translational Science Institute Evaluation Core and holds similar roles on other research centers at Pitt. She leads the Innovation Track for the MS in Clinical Research program in the Institute for Clinical Research Education and has also led several training programs in the fields of assistive technology and innovation for undergraduates, veterans, graduate students, and STEM teachers and is a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia. She has a background in education with a concentration in rehabilitation science; psychology; and Spanish. Dr. Goldberg serves as Co-Director of two research centers: the Initiative to Mobilize Partnerships for Successful Assistive Technology Translation and the International Society of Wheelchair Professionals. Dr. Goldberg holds a LLC (Evaluneer) and has contracted with WGBH Boston and NIH funded training programs at other institutions to develop and facilitate monitoring and evaluation plans.
