Program Application Deadlines

  • November 30 is the deadline to apply for the Training Early Academic Mentors (TEAM) Program, a new program that will launch in January 2012. For information regarding eligibility, expectations, and the application process, click here.
  • December 15 is the deadline to apply for the Clinical Research Scholars Program (CRSP). For more information regarding eligibility, expectations, and the application process, click here.
  • April 15 is the deadline to apply for PhD, MS, and certificate programs that begin on July 1. For more information about these programs, click here.
  • April 15 is the deadline to apply for the Career Education and Enhancement for Health Care Research Diversity (CEED) Program. For more information regarding eligibility, expectations, and the application process, click here.

Upcoming Meeting of ACRT/AFMR/SCTS

The Annual Joint Meeting of the Association for Clinical Research Training (ACRT), the American Federation for Medical Research (AFMR), and the Society for Clinical and Translational Science (SCTS) will be held from April 18 to 20, 2012, in Washington, DC. Upcoming Commencement Ceremony and Alumnus Award

  • The ICRE commencement ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the University Club. The program will begin at 4:00 p.m. and will be followed by a reception.
  • The ICRE is now accepting nominations for the Distinguished Alumnus in Clinical Research Award. Any graduate of the Master of Science Program in Clinical Research or the Certificate Program in Clinical Research is eligible for nomination. Staff Updates

Virginia Mulky, BPhil, joined the Division of General Internal Medicine in November 2011 as the new administrative assistant for faculty in the Section of Decision Sciences and Clinical Systems Modeling and the Center for Research on Health Care (CRHC) Data Center. Virginia (Ginger) earned her degree in film studies, Chinese, and history of art from the University of Pittsburgh and has worked in the Pitt library system and the Carnegie Museum of Art.
