2020 Kuno Award Ceremony Celebrating Dr. Tamar Krishnamurti

Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend S&R Foundation’s virtual celebration honoring Dr. Tamar Krishnamurti, Ph.D., assistant professor of medicine and clinical and translational science. Dr. Krishnamurti has received S&R Foundation’s 2020 Kuno Award for Applied science for the Social Good for her development of MyHealthyPregnancy, an app used by women, including those in underserved communities, to identify and intervene in health risks associated with pregnancy. S&R Foundation’s Kuno Award is a biennial award designed to support women social innovators using scientific research and principles to address a 21st Century problem. The award supports the translation of scientific research into a practical, real-world solution for those aiming to achieve broad social impact. This award will support Dr. Krishnamurti's ongoing work in developing tools for addressing maternal health needs. The celebration, to be held from 12:00PM to 1:00PM EDT on May 12, will include a video highlighting her work, as well as a moderated Q&A session. This webinar will be recorded and live streamed on S&R Foundation's FB page. Attendees’ video and audio will be disabled.
