Research Interest
Anne-Marie is a Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics and a second year PhD student in the Clinical and Translational Science Program. Anne-Marie is primarily interested in the transition of the fetus to neonatal life, commonly described as the “fourth trimester” with a specific research focus on reduction of poor neonatal outcomes such as sepsis, early newborn infections, and preterm birth. Her professional goal is to become a clinical trialist while continuing her clinical work as a pediatrician. Her ultimate goal is to implement effective, evidenced-based strategies to improve neonatal outcomes during the fourth trimester.
