Research Interest  
Jason is a Pittsburgh native who started his post-secondary academic journey at the Community College of Allegheny County where he completed an Associate’s degree in Psychology. He continued his baccalaureate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, graduating cum laude with dual majors in Communications and Psychology and a minor in German language. While working full-time as a Research Coordinator at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC, he completed his MEd in Social and Comparative Analysis in Pitt’s Department of Administrative and Policy Studies. Jason currently works in Pitt’s School of Medicine as a Program Coordinator at the Center for Research on Media, Technology, and Health. In this role, he examines behavioral health trends using online “big data” and population-based surveys emergent behavioral health contexts. He is also active in local non-profit organizations that focus on community-centric revitalization and evidence-based behavioral health care.
