ICRE Director Doris Rubio to be Named Assistant Vice Chancellor

Following on from her transition to the position of Director of the Institute for Clinical Research Education (ICRE), which became effective on February 1, Doris Rubio, PhD, is now taking on another important role in the Schools of the Health Sciences (SHS). To formalize the strong partnership that the ICRE and the SHS have forged in training the next generation of clinicians and scientists, Dr. Arthur Levine, Senior Vice Chancellor for the Health Sciences and John and Gertrude Petersen Dean of the School of Medicine, is now also appointing Dr. Rubio to the position of Assistant Vice Chancellor for Clinical Research Education and Training, Health Sciences, effective June 1, 2019.

In this role, Dr. Rubio, Professor of Medicine, Biostatistics, Biomedical Informatics, Nursing, and Clinical and Translational Science, will report directly to Dr. Levine. We look forward to tracking the exciting developments that will result from her strong leadership.
