Lead a small group in the grant-writing course (CLRES 2071)

All clinical research trainees from the ICRE's numerous programs are strongly encouraged or required to take a 2-semester course on grant writing (CLRES 2071), during which they prepare a career-appropriate NIH grant application. Students work in small groups under the guidance of a faculty member to develop a strong grant application.

Serve as a guest lecturer in other clinical research courses

The ICRE offers a wide range of for-credit courses covering research methodology, ethics, statistics, and other topics in clinical research and health services–related areas. The experiences and expertise of K24 recipients are of direct relevance in these courses, particularly the ones focusing on research methods, biostatistics, and medical writing.
