Program Description

The overarching goal of the Clinical and Translational Science (CTS) Fellowship is to train researchers with the skills to advance the translation of discoveries into improved patient outcomes and health policy. The CTS Fellowship provides rigorous translational research training to qualified pre- and post-doctoral students interested in pursuing research in any of the phases of translation (T1-T4). The CTS Fellowship:

  1. Provides rigorous customized training in translational research methodologies and interdisciplinary professional skills.
  2. Assembles a multidisciplinary mentoring team including a primary mentor to guide the fellow in the conduct of a translational research project (or projects) from conceptualization to completion.
  3. Supports fellows’ future career goals through career coaching and training in disseminating their research widely using diverse mechanisms.

The CTS Fellowship is funded under the Clinical and Translational Science Institute TL1 training grant.
